Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Technology (EMTT)

Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Technology (EMTT) is a scientifically proven and non-invasive therapy method that synergizes effectively with EPAT/ESWT. What sets EMTT apart from conventional magnetic field technologies is its remarkable high oscillation frequency ranging from 100 to 300 kHz. This unique attribute enables EMTT to achieve exceptional penetration depth of up to 18 centimeters, broadening its scope for diverse therapeutic applications in musculoskeletal and pain management.

Primary Indications for the Use of EMTT

EMTT can be used to treat numerous musculoskeletal disorders and a variety of pain syndromes. This technology is backed by significant research and has shown to be extremely successful in the regeneration and rehabilitation of complicated conditions. Look with confidence to Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Technology to treat the dysfunctions listed below:

  • Degenerative joint disorders
  • Wear and tear conditions such as osteoarthritis (knees, hips, hands, shoulders, elbows), herniated discs, spondylarthrosis
  • Pain treatment – Chronic pain, for example, back pain, lumbago, tension, radiculopathy
  • Sports injuries – Chronic inflammation of tendons and joints, tendon overuse syndromes, inflammation of the pubic bone
  • Relaxation of muscle spasms
  • Prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy to temporarily increase local blood circulation in healthy leg muscles
  • Immediate post-surgical stimulation of calf muscles to prevent venous thrombosis
  • Maintaining or improving range of motion
  • Temporary relief of pain associated with sore and aching muscles in the:
    – Shoulder
    – Waist
    – Upper extremities
    – Lower extremities

EMTT ease of use and painless for patients

With the introduction of EMTT, and its magnetic field technology, patients will find that treatment with the MAGNETOLITH system is painless and easy for the medical professional to administer. The clear advantages of using EMTT include the following:

  1. Non-invasive
  2. Wide range of applications
  3. Outpatient procedure
  4. No need to remove clothing
  5. No side effects
  6. Easy to use
  7. Evidence-based

EMTT and ESWT combined are impressively effective

EMTT relies on a different operating mechanism than ESWT does, with the two modalities being highly effective when used together. ESWT acts uses high-energy acoustic signals in a local treatment area, while EMTT acts using high-energy electromagnetic radiation in a regional treatment area resulting in absolute maximal coverage.

EMTT highlights:

  • High oscillating frequency with high penetration depth (100 – 300 kHz)
  • The device offers continuous and reliable operation by a water-cooled applicator
  • Simple plug in and plug out to change the applicator
  • Integrated touch display to adjust energy level, frequency, and pulse rate
  • Flexible holding arm and one locking knob for easy positioning
  • Effectivity and safety are proven in studies

Comments by Dr. Knobloch

“The MAGNETOLITH, using high-end, non-invasive EMTT technology, is a potent tissue healing stimulator on various musculoskeletal tissue to include bones, tendons, muscles, joints, and fascia. In combination with focused shock wave and radial pressure wave, evidence based EMTT appears to be a highly effective partner lifting my tissue healing expectations to another level; and this, after over 500 treatments using the MAGNETOLITH, without any apparent risk in the young, the older, and the advanced athletes.”
